History of WSN Software
The WebmasterSite.net PHP scripts started in August 2002 with the first release of WSN Links. It was simple at the time, but already designed around the principle of flexibility with a fully templated layout. Version 2.0 in early 2003 brought the ability to add new fields, and the possibilities have ballooned with countless new releases bringing thousands of new features over the subsequent years. Continuing development has made it the most customizable and feature-filled directory script on the market today.
WSN Gallery was spun off in 2003 as an image-oriented directory sharing all the power of WSN Links, and eventually grew to handling other media. WSN Forum arrived in 2004 to provide a robust discussion platform, and WSN Knowledge Base was added to handle article directories around the same time. The latest addition to the family is WSN Classifieds, spun off in December 2007 to give full attention to the needs of classified ads sites.
The software is still developed and supported by its original creator, a PHP developer in California.
