add fields / suggestlink problem

When I add a field the suggestlink template doesn't update with the new field. The edit template updates fine. File chmod is 666 and dirs are 755. is there so I can't figure out why this is not working correctly. version 3.14 Any help?

It was showing up there when I was adding test multi-checkbox fields for testing 3.14.
