I am a little confused on what to enter when adding fields.

I am trying to setup radio buttons or checkboxes and can not find out what i should select as type - text or int.

also

I have setup radio buttons selected text, fieldname is "mypicture" value is "myimage.gif"
and "blank.gif" user submittable. when on suggest link page it shows two radio buttons and none is ticked - fine because i only want recip links to have any value in that field.

However when i go to edit link page (and the link is recip - has a value in the "mypicture" field in the database) none of radio buttons is ticked - so I can not see what was selected - is it how it should be?

hen in doubt always leave it as text. The only reason to choose int is for numerical sorting to work right.

If the field is set up and working correctly, it should of course have the selection selected on edit. What does it show as the value in the database?

some links have value field empty - they signed before the featire was added.

some have ecommerce_ico.gif and some have transparent.gif

what it does is the ones that selected ecommerce yes they get ecommerce_ico.gif parced into the "img src" tag in link display the ones that selected no ecommerce they get transparent.gif parsed into the "img src" tag and the ones that have an empty field get nothing because i have wrapped the "img src" into ....

You'll have to explain the problem first. I added a field "mypicture" with values myimage.gif and blank.gif as radio buttons. Submitted a link, selecting blank.gif. On edit, blank.gif was properly selected.

well...

I will take the above back. It still acting funny:

No Ecommerce

I have above in the template.

If ecommerce selected "yes" (ecommerce_ico.gif gets put into database) - I get the radio button checked
if ecommerce selected "no" (pixel_trans.gif gets put into database) - non of the radio buttons are ckecked...
