Just a detail,

When adding a new category at admin panel, the cat names inserted does not appears immediatelly.

After four new cats interted, the first two appears after the automatically named ' two ' and ' fourth '. The last two I inserted have not appeared yet.

edit: when just clicking the add category leaving it blank , the last two new cats I have inserted previously now appears.

Problem with the default language shipped having the values pre-filled. Fixing.

Not for me. Must be because you still have the language file from the older version which had the predefined values.
