Hello everyone, i'm having a troubling issue when I try to delete attachments. They are drop from the database but they still in the filesystem. I tried to delete them with a script utility inside the adminiostration ( I think its name is: Unused Attachments. I read that if I have directory tree for attachments activated it doesn't work. I just wonder why!?
Is there any alternative to make it possible?... Do I have to create my own script?

If you care about conserving space, simply turn off the tree. Recursively iterating through a potentially infinite number of directories to find orphaned files is a few orders of magnitude harder than just having one directory. It may be supported at some point, but not now.

As for deleted attachments not being removed from disk when the attachments tree is on, hadn't noticed that -- will be fixed in next release.

Thank you a lot for your quick answer.. Just one more question... Is there any problem when the attachments directori is in anoter partition of one disk? I have a secondary partition that I backup everyday, i would like to make it the default directory of attachments, but it seems that wen the WSNKB trys to create a folder on this partition ( I treid in three diferent partitions) it can't... Is not a permission problem because everyone can write and read in this partition, it only works when I let the default directory as c:/program files(...)/htdocs/wsnkb/attachments... Do you know why?

It has to be a subdirectory of where KB is installed. I don't think Windows does symlinks, so to have another partition as a subdirectory you'd probably need a unix/linux host.
