Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in /home/dpalbums/public_html/lat/classes/language.php on line 45

Hi - I know I know Im using an old version and you probably cant help but just got the above message this morning. Ive seen that a few other people have had this come up and has been blamed on newer PHP 5.05 but at the moment the server is running PHP 4.4.7.

Has anyone else had this and know a fix?

Upgrade to 4.1. 2.x has multiple security holes, and is unlikely to work with a modern PHP version since it was written several years back.

I understand I should upgrade but my site is a very customised version of WSN Gallery - extra templates, modified templates etc. - and I am scared to upgrade just at the moment as I know how much time it will take.

Are you sure theres no quick fix for this??

I noticed this came up as well in your Links? program and someone had a fix

The quick fix is to upgrade without updating the customized templates yet. The old templates should work except for lacking all the newer features, and maybe a couple spots not displaying the data they should. Their biggest problem is they aren't forward compatible with the template upgrader features.

Extra templates are a complete non-issue, they remain extra extra templates.

If you gave me a link I'd say for sure, but odds are it was a completely unrelated issue that gave the same error message.

Completely unrelated, different line, and that fix was already present by 2.0.5.
