How do I get category summary text on category index pages? I want to have some category specific content in each category index page above listings. thanks

Maybe you mean the description, {CATDESCRIPTION}: http://scripts.webmastersite.net/wsnlinks/wsnmanu... . Or possibly you mean a custom field: http://scripts.webmastersite.net/wsnlinks/wsnmanu... The template is labeled "display links in category" on the manage templates page.
