I'm going to use the frameset and have a quick question. Obviously I'm adding a link to close the frameset, BUT so far that link will basically just open {LINKURL} in the whole window, which blows if the visitor has already moved away from the main page. Is there a way to either just close the small top frame (anything with JavaScript maybe) or somehow retrieve the actual URL of the bottom frame and load that in the whole window? Any suggestion is much appreciated. Thanks. |

Nothing I can google appears to solve the issue. The advice at http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum91/301.htm doesn't seem to work. |

Thanks anyway. I guess they'll have to live with this little inconvenience then :-) |

Changed the 5.1 default top frame template to have the close option (but with this limitation that it goes back to the original page). I checked digg, and the same problem happens if you navigate past the entry page and then close the digg bar (you go back to the entry page). If the big sites like that can't solve it, maybe it can't be solved. |
