Hello, I am using 2.3.7 and am unable to set the date format to european style (dd/mm/yyyy). I noticed that I have a "Customizations/Language" screen in Admin, which also has a link for Date Formats. However, nothing specific appears when I go there, just the usual add/remove language variables. I also tried adding a "dateformat" variable, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

As a sidenote, I don't need multiple languages for this site, and would like to just use the default language (English).

Please help. Thanks,
Eduard

Admin -> Settings -> General has all your date format options.

Not on my system, maybe the upgrade from 2.3.2 went wrong? There are no date options on that page whatsoever.

Anyway, I fixed it in the template code by using the date format on that variable. However, I'd have to do that on any template where the date is shown... is there a direct way to change the date code in the db? I've gone dizzy from searching for it in the admin pages.

Thanks,
Eduard

If you've named your template set something other than default you'll have to remove <IF {THISMEMBERTEMPLATE} is templates/default> and </IF> from your admin panel settings: general template.

Hello Paul, is this in the WSN Gallery: Admin Panel/ Settings? Couldn't find it there... I also looked in the Admin CP templates and couldn't find which one you mean. Can you be more specific?
Thanks,
Eduard
