Is there a way to set it up so on a new registration where one visitor can register with email verification into user group (free) and another visitor would go to a different registration page where they would skip the email verification during sign-up and be put into second user group (paid).

Actually if that second type of registration was an email, username and pw and then went straigh to paypal, came back, activated them, and put them in second usergroup that would be best.

Thanks.

You can exempt groups from validation at Admin -> Members -> Settings.

Sponsoring automatically validates a member if full validation is required, doesn't affect email validation.

The challenge with that is that if they do the second reg type and get put right in a higher/sponsored usergroup and then don't go to paypal, it's hard to track. If they register with validation and then go to upgrade it works, but the idea is to make it less steps. Unless I'm missing something.

They should be registering as regular members and getting promoted when they sponsor.

OK added additional usergroup. Then went to:

Exempt groups from validation at Admin -> Members -> Settings.

But only Member shows up in the exempt window, not new ug, so how do I make them appear so I can set them to exempt?

EDIT- Got it highlighted it in Additional Registration Usergroups window.
