Paul, I wrote to you through this support form last week, but have still not heard back from you. I sent another email through your support form today, including log in details for my site, but I haven't had a confirmation email so don't know if you are receiving them. I know, I made a clients new site live on 5.1 while it was in beta, my fault but it's done. They use secondary categories a lot, usually having 2 or 3 secondary cats. When they do it duplicates the link in the secondary cats. I tested this several times and could not reproduce it. However, I then went through it with the client, both of us making a test link which went into 3 secondary categories. Both the client's and my test link were duplicated in the secondary categories. Would be grateful if you could look at this asap. Thanks Jill |

I replied to you on the 21st, and sent you another copy now, but I guess you're not getting any of my emails so here's another copy: Paul wrote: As I mentioned last time you mentioned it, that never happens on any site I have access to no matter how much I repeat testing. So unless you can suggest some combination of settings for me to try, there's nothing I can do about it until you submit an inspection request: http://scripts.webmastersite.net/wsnlinks/?section=inspection - Paul I tested this several times and could not reproduce it. However, I then went through it with the client, both of us making a test link which went into 3 secondary categories. Both the client's and my test link were duplicated in the secondary categories. That sounds like reproducing to me? Or do you mean you were only able to do that once? If you can see it happen when you alias to three secondary categories, all I can tell you is that I can't see that, nor have I see any other circumstance which created duplicates. So I'd need access to the site configuration where I can see it, if you're saying I can see that if I do it on that site. If that's impossible, send me a copy of the database and any tweaks.php that may exist and hopefully that'd be enough to reproduce. |

Sorry Paul. Client was out the day I rang to ask him to check it. I left a message but he hasn't come back to me yet. Of course it was the weekend and bank holiday so he may have been too tied up (it's a shop). I'll give him a call today. |
