If your usergroup is set to allow using html, yes. Otherwise you can set it to parse WSN Codes for the field.

I'd just use a WSN Code for that myself. The url code should be there by default in 2.2.

firstly why doesn't it work if i have parse html on for all users if i just add the example below

<p>Some test text to see if html will work in the description tag - so
here is a link to <a target="_blank"
href="http://www.site.com">Site Name</a> </p>

also not sure how i would do this for my example

{CONTENT}
- in your instructions does {CONTENT} represent a one of your tags like {CATDESCRIPTION} or some text like "Some test text to see if html will work in the description tag - so
here is a link to"

if i create a code say [para] [/para] how should i specify the rest ie "let this function as the HTML <code={PARAM}>{CONTENT}</code 2;" should be what ? <p>{CONTENT}</p> ? i tried this but get Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: wsncode in /home/gallerie/public_html/galleries/admin/wsncodes.php on line 33
