I keep reading about this wonderful tool called the Integration script, but have been unable to find it. Is it not included in the Basic Edition?

To do integration, read the manual entry: http://scripts.webmastersite.net/wsngallery/manua...

The integration generator which handles the process more visually hasn't made it's way into the WSN Gallery menu yet, as I'd forgotten to add it. Will add it now, but I don't have an ETA on when I'll be updating the Basic Edition to come back in line with the current release of full version (I don't like to update it until I'm sure won't be a reason to update it again soon).

BTW I did read that instruction bit on the Help Link already....but it is not very intuitive.

So then I just assume to goto Settings>Users>

Disable Registration
Then Select member system integration...sorry for being a burden.

I am trying to see if this will successfully integrate with e107. Coppermine does (is to bulky and the organization of the files blow) but Menalto Gallery doesn't integrate at all. Everything else is to weak willed. SO I wanna see if this works well before I upgrade.

Anyways is an option to download, say Links, and then use its script to generate the gallery's integration script?

Thanx for the quick reply.

You need to write the integration file before you can select it from the menu, of course. Take a look at all the examples in your /integration/ directory in addition to the manual entry, and use phpmyadmin to figure out what fields e107 uses. To figure out what password encoding it uses you may need to google it or ask their support, but most scripts just use md5.

is an option to download, say Links, and then use its script to generate the gallery's integration script?

An integration file that integrates WSN Links into script X will also integrate WSN Gallery into script X, if that's what you mean. However the free basic edition of WSN Links is much older than that of WSN Gallery so it doesn't have the integration generator.

So I just downloaded the latest version of WSN Gallery and I still don't see the integration generator. Is e107 impossible to integrate with? I integrated fine with Mambo just by selecting the premade script.

I noticed on your online WSN Links Admin demo site that Integration Generator was available and on the WSN Gallery it was not.

Is this a feature for purchased software only???

You must've downloaded 2.20B. The latest version is 2.24. I already explained in post #2 of this thread and I'm not going to waste time repeating myself.

Gotcha...sorry for being a pain...just I know that this iwll hit big with the e107 group because the only option out there for an integrated (powerful) gallery is coppermine. And I am sorry for being confused...you said it was int he enw version. Iwnet to the site and it said new version available 1+1=2 for me. ANyways my sincere apologies.
