I was wondering if it is possible (via hack or any other method) to have some categories list the links in subcategories on that page.

For example, if I have a top level category of "Food" and a subcategory of "Fruit", on the "Fruit" page I would like to sort of classify the links into subcategories but have them still display on the page without having to click on a subcateogy to bring them up. I.E....

- Food
-- Fruit
--- Apples
---- sites about apples
--- Oranges
---- sites about oranges

Is there anything available?

If there is nothing available I'd be willing to pay to have it developed if anyone is able to write something.

Actually, I think it might be better just to use link types and play around with the template...

Link types are the way to go. Querying multiple categories would become slow enough to be useless.
