A newcomer to WSN Forum and content with it, I would be grateful for help in placing a marquee on the top of selected or all pages, preferably from the admin section. It is intended to use the forum as part of a sports club website, so to be able to highlight results, fixtures and other announcements easily would be helpful.

Templates are at Admin Panel -> Customizations -> Templates. In your wrapper template somewhere below the <body> tag, or whatever you want in whatever other templates, type <marquee>Text message and/or images here.</marquee>

If you prefer to make it a setting, you can use the add fields page to add a setting field named marquee and then use <marquee>{MARQUEE}</marquee> in your template.

Thank you for your help Paul, we will try both methods suggested to achieve our aim, apart from a few early struggles with mysql/php, we are very happy with wsn, thank you for providing such a valuable mechanism to our club’s athletic ambitions.
