Hi! The personal link list is a very nice feature but I don't see any controls beside turning it on and off. Am I missing something or is this the case?
I would like to limit it's use by membergroup or else regular members will flow the site with their links.

Right now that's pretty much the case, yes. The only thing feature suggestion related to it right now is the ability to use categories within the album.
However: By default links in the album itself can't be seen by others. So if you mean by flooding, pollute your content with links, that shouldn't be able to happen.

Quantum: I've read those suggestions and I like them. It's crossing a directory with a personal bookmark manager, but will it scale? If I have 1000 members and each one adds a 1000 links and 100 categories to its personal link list, won't I be experiencing severe performance problems?
By flooding I mean any user that decides submit a gazillion links which would slow the site to an agonizing crawl. I would like to limit the number of links each member can have in it's personal link list.
Paul: thanks! I had a sudden burst of intelligence earlier today and done that =) That will do for the time being. btw, the WSN syntax is very cleaver! I quickly solved many complicated permission problems with it!

Addition of categories is a performance problem if you have the levels set deep, but member link list categories aren't counted for regenerating etc so they shouldn't have an impact. Addition of links can cause a slowdown if you're talking about a million links, but would still be decent if you have a fast server (that kind of traffic to have 1000 active members combined with the load of the million links would probably annoy shared hosts though so you might need a VPS or dedicated.).
