I can't open the admin area. The gallery itself has mysql errors and not all thumbnails are there. I gues we should start with the admin area? You haven't said what you're upgrading from. I'll guess you're upgrading from 2.x. Open your config.php, find $chattable = 'wsngallery_chat'; and delete that. Then re-run upgrade.php. Edited by Paul on 03/16/07 - 05:55 PM

I had to come up with a solution quicker so I created a table called wsngallery_chat with one field and the saved it. Now it seems to be working fine, althought I have not done a major test. I run it throught the ringer an let you know if I find anything else.

As I was logged in as admin, I clicked to edit a file that was missing a thumbnail (there are only a few), I didn't make any changes but I clicked save in hopes it would re-create the thumbnail and I got a fatal error. BTW - I did like you said and deleted that part in the config file and then re-ran the upgrade.php but it still has the above problem when I try to edit or regenerate all, not sure where it's crashing in the regenerate but it's the same error. It's only the ne wthumbnails that are not showing up. Also I tried to upload an FLV file and it won't play at all. I have everything installed that the reuiqrments ask for except lame but that should not stop an FLV from playing. It doesn't load the player at all. Do I need to put that code in a template? And if so which ones, I am not understanding the flv instructions completely (maybe has something to do with a St Patties day Biker party last night).

The table isn't actually important to WSN Gallery though so it doesn't matter. Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/vhosts/wwwroot/showyour.com/photoswap/edi t.php on line 456 Re-download and overwrite edit.php. Also, you're supposed to be uploading other file types -- WMV, MOV etc -- and letting it convert to FLV. I haven't tested a direct FLV upload (though I'd think it'd still work). It doesn't load the player at all. Do I need to put that code in a template? Even if ffmpeg weren't working the player outline would still load. It's the category pages that are missing alot of thumbnails. Thats the problem it shows nothing..... The newest thumbnails are gone? I can't regenerate because when I grenerate everything it blows up 20 minuts down the road. Do you want me to pm you the admin password? I don't know what else to try?

I run the site 100% free I accedently bought 2 licences from you. I don't make any money to pay you to fix the upgrade. I found your first bug before you did.

Ok, I am obsessed with getting this bug resolved on regeneration (Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/vhosts/wwwroot/showyour.com/photoswap/classes/attac hment.php on line 234) I re-uploaded all the new wsn files accept the logo.png file. Then I re-did the config.php file new with all the parameters and I remarked out the chat part. Then I ran the upgrade, leaving the smiles intaked. The upgrade went fine (again). Then I am still missing thumbnails and missing whole images, the image is there if you click on the image name, it just doen't show up in the page. So I did the regenerate all and got the attachments error. Then I went and did a chmod -R 777 . (in the attachments dir). Then did a regenerate and it crashed again. I don't mind giving you the login and everything I just don't have $40 per hour to pay you for a site that I run that does not make any money, it's just a true completly free site for adult to swap photo's. Do you have a script that I can run that makes sure there is not a permissions issue? The original upgrade was from the version I first bought from you back when ever to 3.0.11 I think it was probably 2.x.x Any help will be greatly appreciited by my 800+ users.
