Paul I have a problem with upgrading from beta 6 to 7. I am getting 500 Internal Server Error after I upgraded.

I checked my error logs and I am getting this ... .htaccess: RewriteRule: cannot compile regular expression '^?$'

Paul I put the beta 6 htaccess in place and it works but soon as I change switches or make changes on SEO. I get the 500 Internal Server Error.

I went back to beta 6 and every thing is working fine

Beta 7 doesn't work if you use URL rewriting with member link lists switched off. Fixed in beta 8.

Hi Liz

I had to delete my .htaccess. I then updated the seo admin page and it produced a new .htaccess and my site now works fine.

Yes, the .htaccess only updates when that page is submitted, I should've mentioned that. Seems to be working in beta 8.

Ok Paul I figured it out this is what I had to do to get going correctly. I had to go in SEO and add to these areas they were left blank.

Format for member link list rewriting: I put members/{MEMBERNAME}-{MEMBERID}-fav.html
Format for member link list index rewriting: I put members/{MEMBERNAME}-{MEMBERID}-favdex.html

Fixed the problem. But not sure if that's the correct format for them or not.

I'll use
lists/{CATREWRITEPATH}-{CATID}/{PAGE}.html
and
lists/
