I began upgrading another copy of WSNlinks tonight, and it went more or less smoothly until I started changing some settings and switches. I had just turned off the calendar and some other item (can't remember what) and suddenly began getting 500 server errors. My error log reports: /home/*****/public_html/resources/.htaccess: RewriteRule: cannot compile regular expression '^?$'\n I checked the .htaccess for extraneous spaces, but none were readily apparent. I tried deleting .htaccess, but the 500 server errors persist.

Post your .htaccess here. "cannot compile regular expression '^?$'\n" sounds like maybe there's a line which went mostly blank. Not seeing any problems with my combination of switches, even with help items on now. Edited by Paul on 05/04/08 - 11:10 PM
