This is a bit weird.

I have edited the templates for the site...everything works fine until somebody (else) signs up/logs in. When that happens they get some sort of crippled version of the default template set with variables on the page (especially language related:{LANG_GENERAL_LINKS}in etc. The only thing I did that I imagine to have caused this is adding a copy of the default template set with a different name under templates. I did that for testing purposes and I have removed it later on.

I should note that this only affects other (new) users, it works fine on this computer (right templates being shown). They have cleared cache also and it didnt help.

Your default template set or language is different from your registration default and profile preference.

Actually, the registration default was the same with default template set but they selected multilingual at registration. I have removed the multilingual templates (not having a multilingual installation).

Thanks for pointing it out.
