After setting up the Link Type Sponsorship every thing seemed to go as planned. I set one link as sponsored, by using the edit button for that link and changing the link type from regular to sponsored and then added 10 to the link funds box. The site showed up as a sponsored site, no problem.
The problem came when I started adding the sponsored link code to the templates of other categories. I then visited those categories and noticed that links that are not set as sponsored, and have no funds applied to them are listed as sponsored Links.
This is a category of Auto Web Sites. The site University Scion is listed as a sponsored, or "featured site", as I call them.
It occurs in every category that I have added the sponsored link code to. Also, if I delete the link that is showing up there, then another link will take its place.
Anyone else encounter this problem?
I have attached a screenshot of my sponsorship settings page.
After Upgrading to 3.12 I still have the problem of unsponsored links being listed as sponsored. One thing that I noticed is that in Safari, the very first link in the category is shown as a sponsored link, but in Firefox and Netscape, the last link in a category is shown as a sponsored link (Assuming the category doesn't have a sponsored link in it).

Paul, I tried it again and got the same result. Maybe I'm placing the wrong html and db code between the tags? I simply copied the Regular link code and placed it between the sponsored link tags. Is that correct? Brad

Paul, Thanks for the response. I'll try to simplify the test as you suggested. I have upgraded to 3.12 with no success. I'm sure the problem is me, it's just a matter of locating the error.

After a bit more testing, I noticed that if there are two sponsored links in a category, one will be thrown out. The page will only display one sponsored link per category. Hopefully this will provide a clue as to what is going on.
