I've never used PHP Link Directory, so of course I can't tell you anything about it.

Use PHPLD if....You want your site to look like a million other sites out there. Ok there is a huge range of templates out there for PHPLD, but you can bet any other osites wsill have the same template. PHPLD is no where near as customisable or versatile.

Use PHPLD if....You want google to ban you from their index for all eternity. There is no doubt, with the huge amount of links directories popping up on the net, selling and giving away link for the perpose of increasing PR. Google are clamping down, and they can sniff out a PHPLD from miles away. PHPLD are top of googles hit list.

I dont even think of WSNLINKS as a script, I think of it as a PHP tool, a web development godsend. I WISH Paul would rename it because WSNLINKS does not do this justice. There is just about nothing you cant do with it. If you said to me today, I need a website that can do "such and such" I bet I could work out a way to make WSNLINKS do it.

I have messed about with just about every "links script" out there and none come even close to what this thing can do.
