WSN Links

Am I going mad? I have been trying for the last half an hour to find where to pay for and download that software that allows me to tell a persons location from IP address. Where is it? And... If I buy it, will I be able to display a persons town in text, is there a variable for that? Will I be able to create a toplist of local businesses based on the location determined by this software? Does it come with instructions? Thanks

I've noticed a problem if you create a toplist using the Geo IP Database. I you have a toplist in the wrapper template that shows listings determined by geo location, and then someone enters a location that doesn't exist in the database, for the brief moment the redirect page is shown, and error is displayed. I note the rss feed output as per www.betting-links.co.uk/rssfeed.php That one I ammended to point to the detail page as opposed to the external url. That feed is ok for a viewer who wants to read it via a feed reader. What I wanted to do however was suck feed data into an external blog site. eg picture the external blog creating a new post with a link back to the detail page. The instant updates to category listings seem to work great, but I haven't been getting the daily digest, either for the admin account or the test member account. Both accounts are set to receive email from members and site admin. Is there something else in the settings somewhere that could be preventing it from going out? Also would running the daily cron force the daily digest to send out, if it can be sent out, as a way to test if it is working?

Hi, I want to move my directory and all the listings from the root to a subfolder. How can I do this and keep all the links intact. I will most probably need to 301 all the URL's?? Is this possible at all? Thanks

I've been getting the following error when editing links, but only under certain circumstances. It took a while of testing to try to figure out just what was causing the trouble, but I think I've found the source of it. I'm using a js export to pull affiliate ads from my wsnlinks install to my wsngallery site. I know this is technically not a WSN Links problem, though it just occured while setting up a new install on a server that I'm not used to. I had some permission issues, htaccess couldn't be created, etc. so I was stupid enough to change the permission of the /html folder - in which all files for the website have to be stored - to 777. From that moment on I had no access to anything on the website. Obviously I changed the permission back to 755, then every other combination and final...

I'm running an older version of WSNlinks on one of my sites and cloaking affiliate links using the links.php?id=xxx method. I've installed the newest version on a sister site, but the same method is throwing a 404. Is there a different way to cloak affiliate links now?
