Noticed today that if I have a " immediately followed by a ) it removes the closing parens and substitutes it with a wink smilie even though the setting is for a ; followed by a ). Does the same here in the forum - ")

I have a top-level category which has members cannot submit links (different to the default). I have "Should subcategories inherit permissions from their parents?" set to yes. However, new sub-categories still allow members to submit a link.

Just upgraded to latest version of WSN and working on upgrading an old site. I've installed into a brand new directory completely separate from the old site and I am adding new categories. I can add Top Level categories, but the when trying to change the dropdown list from Top Level to a subcategory they are all bold and I can't select them. I have started on a French [Canadian] language translation which I intend to share with the WSN community. I am wondering if there is anyone who would like to work with me. I am specifically thinking in terms of proof reading help, but translation would be good too.

For some reason the category selector on the submit/edit link page for my one 5.0 site is in catid order instead of alphabetical order. I have 2 other sites both still at 4.1.69 and their categories are in alphabetical order. I just noticed that when I now alias a category it becomes a completely new category and doesn't show any of the links that are supposed to be in that category.
