It will associate whatever gets paypaled with the account and deduct according to what you've set for the sponsor level. To change the amount credited for the very same sponsor level you could use the bonus for large deposits.
As related with this thread, I would like to suggest you to have two sponsorship methods:
a) the one we already have with daily deductions
b) just incrementing the expire variable on x amount of days for y amount of money to be charged. As: www.webmastersite.net/forum..._expire_variable-6749.html . At link suggesting, the member selects the amount of time to be published. The link can be published for a period of time before it's expired (hidden) awaiting for the member to pay, or it can be maintained hidden, just seen on their expired links list under member options panel, awaiting for payment.
Actually, I would pay for a complete module or feature set to manage the sponsored listings...
1. Per category sponsorship 2. Multiplelevels of sponsorships, per category, duration based 3. Ability to automatically and manually set expiry for those sponsored listings 4. Ability to feature them on home page for extra fee or say Feated sponsorship separate option 5. Ability to accept only sponsored listings and no free listings 6. Ability/extra option with extra fee to feature/sticky the listings per category 7. Admin ability to manage all of that 8. user account ability to manage all of their sponsorships. 9. Paypal integration at minimum.
Others you could add as you feel and deem would help this improve.
Thanks for anyone who could work on it. I am willing to buy this module if coded.
Per-category sponsorship would mean each of the sponsorship options can be overridden for the category by editing it?
3. Ability to automatically and manually set expiry for those sponsored listings
Make the expiration setting override the normal sponsorship, yet send out the regular sponsorship emails and revert types as sponsorship?
It seems to me that 5. Ability to accept only sponsored listings and no free listings 7. Admin ability to manage all of that 8. user account ability to manage all of their sponsorships. 9. Paypal integration at minimum. are already there.
4. Ability to feature them on home page for extra fee or say Feated sponsorship separate option 6. Ability/extra option with extra fee to feature/sticky the listings per category
These sound like link types. How do they differ from the current setup?

Hi,
I'd like to have only sponsored/paid links on my directory. I guess this is possible to disable the free submissions.
However...
1. Is it possible to charge a different fee for annual, 5 years or lifetime fee for paid links?
If it is not possible with the existing release, is there a module or hack for the same?
Thanks

Hi Paul and team...
Anyone considering to work on this module?
Or Paul... do you plan to include such features in any of the next releases?
Thanks

The feature suggestions forum covers what's being considered.
I can't say I see the point to the expire-sponsoring, so it's unlikely unless paid for.
