I have integrated a phpbb and use the membersystem of phpbb.
If the user now log in with his data. In his profile are alle E-Mail options yes. Because of the many members I would like to have the default configuration for alle kind of E-Mails to "NO"
I don't want to force the members to do this by hand? (I changed the default registration options - but this have no effekt - logic, but I tried.)
Also I want to have the default editor as "plain"
Maybe all this stuff is only shown as yes if you edit the profile, because no entries in the database. But this can still cause problems if the user, just edit his signature and than automaticly changes alle options to yes.
To set such defaults you can use phpmyadmin to set the default values of the fields as 'no' and to alter all current members to set their values to no... same idea for plain etc.
