Is there any way we can have spaces in tags instead of having them run into one word?

Use the $keepchars tweak and make a space one of your characters. scripts.webmastersite.net/w...nmanual410/link.php?id=359

You made some sort of mistake in writing your tweaks.php. Tell me what you wrote and I'll tell you what the mistake was.

You're right- there was a space that shouldn't have been there.

It worked and made a space however the URLs break, how can I fix that?

Thanks for your help

Are you sure you upgraded to 5.0.31? The URLs might break in 5.0.28, support for them was pretty recent.

I can't use the auto-upgrade because i'll lose the file permissions on the server- so i've not upgraded. Is there another way I can upgrade without using the auto-installer?

thanks

I downloaded the new version from the members area and ran the upgrade file. Apart from some problem with the multilingual files (Error #2: 'unlink(templates/multilingual/exchangerequest.tpl) everything seems okay and it says in the admin overview that it's up to date.

However the tags still aren't working properly. Where the space should be in the url it has a + sign. Any ideas?
Thanks

Either get suPHP (preferable) or use the chmod utility to chmod 777 everything when done.

Do you actually have a multilingual install or an english install? If it's an english install and you accidentally uploaded /templates/multilingual/, delete it to avoid confusion.

I don't see any + signs but I do see the search isn't working clicking them in the tag cloud: http://sandbox.webmastersite.net/wsnlinks50/ . Will make sure that search works shortly. Edit: done.

I can't see any + signs on the tags there. I use FireFox so tried different browsers (IE, Opera, Safari, Googlecrom), None of them showed + signs, HOWEVER, the only browser that showed your data feed correctly was FireFox. All the others showed the html, so instead of a line break it shows br/ and instead of the image it shows img src="http etc.

Nice site by the way smiling face

You can see the + on the URL not the tag itself. So instead of a - theres a +

hover over the tags with spaces and you'll see what I mean.

and thanks for letting me know about the data feed smiling face

I see the + in web+site there. Not sure how that can happen on one site yet not others. Try 5.0.32.

Ah, I see now that the + issue is only on the link details page. I was looking at the tag cloud where it doesn't do that.
