For different reasons, sometimes days can pass before a link is approved, so I would like to use a variable date of publishing links (when admin accepts a link) rather than date of submitting.
I know we already have {LINKDATE} as date of submitting, but do we have a date of publishing or approval variable ?

If you make a habit of hitting the edit button and looking at it before you approve it anyway then you could just use 'lastedit'

No. I wouldn't want another field for that, but maybe there could be an option someday to have the date update on validation.
