when i click on comments link it gives some wiered error and nothing works on there, other than that i beleive every thing is working fine with this new version.
And after logging in the login name and password fields also doesnt goes only in this comments and details page. It goes away properly in all other pages.
Please help me and let me know if you need any more details..

well the search problem is solved but still my comments problem is not gone.
May be i have done some mistakes some where and not able to rectify it .. please help me with it paul. I have also uploaded new copy of onelink.php, still no go.
Your template is the default, so it must be something about the switches. Yet my site works perfectly fine with combined details/comments and similar links switched on... shows similar link correctly.
Perhaps you don't actually have mysql 4 and switched on similar links by mistake. That would cause such.

The second term of
<IF {SWITCH_SIMILAR} and {LINKNUMSIMILAR}>
is blank for you. Are you sure you have the current classes/onelink.php?

You've turned on search logging without giving permission to write to the file, as it tells you there.

I presume you don't get that if you don't combine details and comments. But I can't reproduce it by combining either.
