I have set Links Setting as per attached image. I have tried setting them to YES & NO which make no difference.

If I set the Don't count the 1st (number ) of charcacters to 0 then it produces the following error message and still does not log hits.

Sub categories

I updated to version 4.1.64 and then run update.php.

When the front page - index.php - comes up it does not show the sub-categories which it did before.

When you click through to categories you can see the sub categories on that page. How can I make the sub categories appear on front page, as before? Can you advise?

Search not working right ?

I search on my site (instance 'Search' for 'fences) and when the results show up it has at the end of results the following:-

'PRESTON FENCING' [imghttp://www.gardenbuildings.com/directory/template... <span style="color: #336633">Great Britain UK

[View Link Details] br]
and all the search results
don't come up.

I went into mysql admin and checked all the entries and found that if in the description there were spaces this made the listing on mysql admin go onto a second line and this could be causing the problem. If I removed the decription the mysql admin listing would be all in line.

However, even after making sure all the listings were all on their own lines and not spilling partly onto a 2nd line there is still this problem.

Any ideas if this a bug and if not what is causing this problem?
