e107 integration

I have been looking at the integration tools. Here's what I know so far:

- e107 uses 1 cookie (default name = "e107cookie")

- cookie is in format id#.encpasswd where id# is obviouslty the user's id number, and encpasswd is the password in the database (text password having been run through md5) run through md5 again. Eg. if the text password was Password, then the database would contain dc647eb65e6711e155375218212b3964, and the cookie would contain b8498ee29e56e711a268ae8cc461ae94.

- the field in the database to determine if a user is valid (user_ban) uses 0 to show a user is valid, and 1 if they are not. This may be why I get 0 members listed, and errors show when I try to list users ( see http://urbanlines.net/gallery/memberlist.php?debug=1 ).

I have added the following integration code
?php
$memberstable = 'ul_e107_user';

$newusergroup = 'user_class';
$newname = 'user_loginname';
$newid = 'user_id';
$newpassword = 'user_password';
$newemail = 'user_email';
$newtime = 'user_join';
$newip = 'user_ip';
$newvalidated = 'user_ban';
$newsignature = 'user_signature';
$newlocation = '';
$newbio = '';
$newhomepage = '';
$newoccupation = '';
$newaim = '';
$newmsn = '';
$newicq = '';
$newyahoo = '';
$newcustomtitle = 'user_customtitle';
$newinterests = '';
$newsalt = '';

$otherencoder = 'no';

$admingroup = '-1';
$group4 = '';
$group5 = '';

$idcookiename = 'e107cookie';
$passwordcookiename = '';
$cookietype = '';
$idindex = '';
$passwordindex = '';
$cookieidtype = '';

?
Results so far are that it recognises when I put the correct username/password in (tells me if it's wrong) but then it still doesn't log me in. It creates 4 cookies:
- e107cookie (userid)
- wsnpass (password as in database)
- testcookie (userid)
- returnto (page I tried to log in from)

I'm a bit stuck on getting it to read/write the cookies. I'm guessing I need to add $cookietype = 'e107'; then edit classes/members.php to include an else if ($cookietype == "e107") section or 2, but not sure what or where.

Is this going to be a simple job, or will loads of complicated changes be needed?

Image comment issues

2 things in 1 which may or may not be related;

1) I can't get WSN codes to work in comments. It was working fine, but after some time editing templates (and possible doing some changes to config) it no longer works. I have checked the switch to allow wsn codes (id=9 name=wsncodes value=1). The markup table seems to be complete and populated. The setting for WSN codes (id=40) seems to be empty, but copying in the data from an old database doesn't help. Any other ideas?

2) When I post a comment, I get the following error:

[function.getimagesize]

Any idea why some of my images are barfing when asking them to show thumbnails as in the example page? All the images are from the same camera and editing software.

I get one error message for each of the failed thumbnails:

I can view the images themselves fine however.

Category SUBSUB in templates

I made a slight change to main.tpl and displaylinks.tpl so that the subcategories list vertically rather than as comma separated on a line;

ul
BEGIN SUBSUB
lia href="index.php?action=displaycat&catid=CATID}" class="categoryname"CATNAME}/a/li
END SUBSUB
/ul

However, this seems to have no effect. No matter what I put in the SUBSUB section, the result is the same comma list. Even if I remove all code in that section. Have I mistakenly changed a variable which controls this, as it did list vertically previously.

Thanks

Thumbnail problem

I have finally got around to upgrading my version of the gallery software. After a few teething problems (the admin control panel adding blank lines into the config.php) I have it mostly working now. One problem I'm having though is linking to thumbnails from outside the gallery.

Previously I just used the format:

http://urbanlines.net/gallery/thumbnail.php?id=1969&thumbheight=150&thumbwidth=150

where the id is the id of the image to be thumbnailed. However, this no longer works. It seems I need to find 2 numbers now, as in this format:

http://urbanlines.net/gallery/thumbnail.php?id=1375&attachid=1235&thumbwidth=200&thumbheight=200

The id is still the id of the full size image, but now there's an extra field, attachid. This looks completely unrelated to the image number. This just adds work for me when I want to show thumbnails. Is there a way around it?

Cheers
