latest link title and submitter name template variables Michelle I'd like to add the title and submitter name of the latest link in each category to the category listing page, but found there was no template variable to handle that. I then tried toplists, but it showed the latest overall link instead of each category's latest link. (I tried using the WHERE clause, but it didn't work. Does that field accept the CAT ID variable?) WordPress, toplists and widgets Michelle I'm planning to integrate this WSN Links site with WordPress (and possibly vBulletin) as much as I can, and would really like to be able to add a widget to my WordPress sidebar to display the latest links. I'd also like to be able to add a toplist or plugin to WSN Links, to display the latest posts in WordPress. smiling face Jun 17, 2010 - 12:08 AM Paid Scripts Support
">only 2 categories counted in TOTALCATS? Michelle

I've got probably about a hundred categories, but TOTALCATS says only two.  I've tried regenerating categories a few times, but it remains at "2".

Submission rules Michelle

I don't seem to have an Articles link in the Settings menu.  I hadn't made any changes to the menu frame template, but I tried reverting it anyway & still don't have it.

Submission rules Michelle

I'd like to add some submission rules. I see the {SUBMISSIONRULES} variable in the Submit Links template, but I'm not sure where to change it. Do I create a new entry under Languages?

Current time in EST on main index page? Michelle I'd like my main index page to show the current time in New York City, and have been looking through the template variables for a way to do it. I've found plenty of date/time and formatting options for link variables, but I haven't found any just for the current date. Is there a way to do this with template variables or should I use PHP instead? Jun 03, 2009 - 1:59 AM Paid Scripts Support
Show off your links Michelle I think I've fixed it; discovered a </div> was missing inside some conditional code. Thanks for the heads-up. Jun 03, 2009 - 12:50 AM Paid Scripts Support
Show off your links Michelle That's weird; I'm using Firefox also and not seeing the problems you describe. I just tried logging off to see if it's related to not being registered and was promptly logged in again.shocked Jun 03, 2009 - 12:12 AM Paid Scripts Support

autoupdate deletes template image dir Michelle Lately each time I've used the autoupdate feature on one particular site (http://www.customize-your-life.com/), it deletes the templates/Purple/images directory. Any idea why this is happening? I always check the "do not overwrite customized templates" box but it doesn't make a difference. Apr 15, 2009 - 1:03 AM Paid Scripts Support
upgrade problem Michelle I logged on to follow your instructions and discovered everything's running fine now. Weird, but good. On to the next upgrade... Feb 08, 2009 - 11:50 PM Paid Scripts Support
upgrade problem Michelle My other wsnlinks installs on the same server didn't require the ftp information. But I started installing it manually and discovered I ran into the disk quota before I finished, so maybe that was the cause.

I upgraded to 5.0 also, but now I'm getting errors like:

An error occoured at

www.icecreamnewyork.com/ice...ops/upgrade.php?getgoing=1 on 2009-02-08

08:41:57. Please relay this data to support. Error #2: 'ftp_chdir()

[function.ftp-chdir]: Can't change directory to

/home/*****/public_html/ice_cream_shops: No such file or directory' in

/home/*****/public_html/ice_cream_shops/includes/filefunctions.php on line 110.

There were many more errors like that, but they all said Error #2.

upgrade problem Michelle I'm trying to upgrade a copy of 4.1.52 to 4.1.73 (before updating it to 5) but I'm getting the following error:

Extracted file ../temp/wsnlinks/templates/default/memberlist.tpl does not have the correct file size '' (2456 expected). Archive may be corrupted.
Directory ../temp/wsnlinks/ is unexpectedly empty!

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/****/public_html/shops/includes/filefunctions.php on line 74

I tried erasing and recreating the temp as advised in a different thread, but no change.

WSN Links vs WSN Directory Michelle I see you've taken my feature request for maps listing all entries in a categorysmiling face and branched off into a new product, WSN Directory.shocked A couple of my existing WSN Links sites would probably be better off in that format, as some have many businesses that have physical addresses but not web sites. If I were to buy WSN Directory license(s), would it be possible to import the data to the new script?

(and I don't suppose you'd consider letting me convert a license or two for WSN Links to Directory? I bought the last three licenses after you said you'd work on it, thinking the map feature would be in a future upgrade, not an entirely new product.)
