| babrees | Hi Paul Have just downloaded free version of forum to test it out. When I go to Topic Types I get the following error message... Could not find the INSERT ALL LISTING TYPES marker in the show listings in category template -- so there seems to be a problem with your templates. Are these templates from an old version? Cannot proceed with the type manager using old templates. I used the autosetup.php to install - can I download the actual templates from somewhere? Cheers Jill |

The toplist detailed here: scripts.webmastersite.net/w...k.php?action=detail&id=532 will not work on the details and detailcomments pages unless the toplist has a number, ie <!-- BEGIN TOPLIST 4081 --> <!-- END TOPLIST 4081 --> Perhaps this could be added to the page in the manual? |

| Category Permissions | babrees | I changed category permissions for just one category, so that guests, members and sponsors could not rate links, submit links, submit comments, submit categories. I did not touch permissions for admin or mod, so they would just be the default options. However, nobody can now view the category, whether as guest or logged in as admin Cheers Jill |

I see your point about putting it on one line and that's probably ok for short ones as yours, but some addresses (including mine) in the UK are rather long to do that. I know I always curse when on a site that doesn't have a second address line  Not sure about a lot of people, depends how many UK people you have , but count me in wanting that |

| Admin edits require validating | babrees | OK, I have found the problem - on one of my upgrades (not sure which one) ALL category specific permissions were changed to Yes AARRGGGHHH This is for 250 categories and 4 membership groups!!! It will take me a month of sundays to manually change all these to default, and I just don't have that time or energy. Is there a way that I can quickly change ALL categories to default permissions? TIA Jill |
