| A forbidden parameter 'language'..... error with Directory 11. | Webbo | After running a couple of tests on affected machines/browsers, it appears it is an issue with a cookie set by the directory script. Deleting the cookies/data in the affected browsers has fixed it at this end. If the names of the cookies in use for the directory script were identified, would it be possible to include a script to expire the cookie and possibly replace it with a renamed version? Or modify the cookie settings to prevent the issue from happening? It's not my field of expertise. |

| A forbidden parameter 'language'..... error with Directory 11. | Webbo | Just an update to this, if the directory is viewed in a 'Private' window (Firefox), or 'Igconito' (Chrome) the issue doesn't occur. Turning off the 'Search' switch to remove the search function doesn't resolve the issue. The directory is located here: https://www.maggotdrowning.com/pages/directory |

| A forbidden parameter 'language'..... error with Directory 11. | Webbo | How can I fix this relevant to the Firefox and Chrome desktop browsers, but also appears specific to individual user PCs as some PC's don't have an issue yet others do despite using the same versions of the browsers? "A forbidden parameter 'language' was passed to this page in the URL, a form or a cookie." - is the message being seen and preventing the Directory page from loading The only information I can find online is: developer.mozilla.org/en-U...P/Headers/Content-Language which suggests that it is a coding issue within the WS Directory 11.0.7 software |
