I changed some of the {LANG} variables, but only Mozilla and Opera get it right. IE (6) will still use the default. Even worse, IE also won't use the Link Display Names, but only the official names..
That's only part of the s**t IE does, but maybe someone had this problem before..
well it seems this has sth to do with my login mode. i once logged in as admin, and then logged out again, and it works now. don't understand it thou'
It's impossible for a web browser to decide which template variables to use. Browsers are client side, not server side. You probably have bad cache settings or something and are looking at old versions of pages.
