preventing spiders from spidering |

How can I prevent spiders from spidering thumbnail.php ?
I am not using the thumbnail.php function at the moment but there are quite a bit of them indexed on yahoo.com and they are all dead links. I did use the thumbnail.php before but not currently.
The link below is what yahoo's search index looks like:
