Is there a way that a user can insert a comma [ , ] into the price -

so that the it is recognized ... ??

Example - if a user types in 18,000 - it then shows up as $18.00

- Looked but did not see any reference to this ... Thanks

Paul - Looks like this is happening again in 6.0.9

[ Inserting 18,000 and ending up as 18.00 ]

This looks like the reverse of what you requested before. In the opening post, you wanted to have 18,00 interpreted as 18.00 and now you don't.

Maybe what you want is to use commas as both a thousands separator and a decimal separator? I'll handle that in the next release.

Hello Paul .. a case of the mistaken meaning ... [ I see what you mean ] I did not make myself clear !

[ In the opening post, you wanted to have 18,00 interpreted as 18.00 and now you don't. ]
This was actually "not" our intention ....

Was thinking that when someone adds a price to the listing - it would be very common [ possibly ] for them to add a comma their price ...

such as $18,000 .... meaning 18 thousand dollars

Showing the comma is fine by us ...
as long as if when someone adds a comma when inputting the the price - that it does not convert that price to $18.00 ... meaning 18 dollars

... which I believe it was doing before ...

.. so we'd like the comma to only act as a comma ...

[ the fun of typing a conversation - rears the ugly head !!]

Thanks again

In 6.0.11, it only converts a comma to a decimal when there are two digits after the comma. That should make everything work I think.
