Could it be that the filename of the image at that URL doesn't have an extension? It seems to be unable to determine the extension (,jpg, .png etc). Anyhow I'll make sure it doesn't throw an error in that scenario.

I'm getting a ton of error emails from my wsn links install, such as the one below...
