After moving a link from one category to another, and after regenerating counters, the category were the link was in originally is still showing the last link submitted date of the moved link, and the receiving category were the link has moved to is not showing the date of this submitted link. At regenerating, the category should recheck what is the corresponding date for the last submitted or moved-in link ?
