Member does not stay logged in after auto reg

If a member account if auto generated during sign up, they are logged in on the redirect page, but as soon as they are sent to a new page they are logged out.
This breaks complicated submit process. I need them to be logged in and stay logged in after they submit and their account is auto generated, without them having to log in again.
I have tried different cookie settings, tried multiple browsers and no matter what I do, an auto registered member get logged out immediately after the redirect page, after registration.

The login cookies should work in autoregistration now in 7.0.34 Beta 1.
