I'm willing to pay someone to run this upgrade for me. I've tried everything within my limits to do it successfully to no avail.
Getting tons of errors one after the other. Yes I tried to follow the instructions in the readme.html. Site is currently dead when viewed through MIE..

I dont know....I doubt hackers took it over, but nothing is impossible. I ran the upgrade again and for the most part, it took. It's being displayed as "Your WSN Links 4.1.62 is up to date".
The problem now is with this; Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/hidden/public_html/databases/mysql.php on line 27 ..which only shows on the site front so far.
A few items in the admin center show the following error at the top of the page; Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/hidden/public_html/includes/admincommonfuncs.php on line 739 ...such as all links under the settings category.
I'd still be willing to pay you to have a look at things Paul...if your willing. Unless what I'm describing is tell tale stupidity on my part and your willing to point it out.
The site still only works on Firefox...MIE shows nothing but the "Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/hidden/public_html/databases/mysql.php on line 27", error.

Probably the config.php couldn't be edited due to your not having FTP info supplied while in apache 777 mode, leading to tables not being recorded.
I'd expect a 4.0.33 install to be under the control of hackers by now.

I dont know....I doubt hackers took it over, but nothing is impossible.
I ran the upgrade again and for the most part, it took. It's being displayed as "Your WSN Links 4.1.62 is up to date".
The problem now is with this;
Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/hidden/public_html/databases/mysql.php on line 27
..which only shows on the site front so far.
A few items in the admin center show the following error at the top of the page;
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/hidden/public_html/includes/admincommonfuncs.php on line 739
...such as all links under the settings category.
I'd still be willing to pay you to have a look at things Paul...if your willing. Unless what I'm describing is tell tale stupidity on my part and your willing to point it out.
The site still only works on Firefox...MIE shows nothing but the "Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/hidden/public_html/databases/mysql.php on line 27", error.
